Beam corporate ethos seriously need to be modified for the Australian market. Constantly patronizing guidance and requirements almost like it's the clients duty to ensure Beam profitability. I could give lots of examples but why should I or why would I want too. Seriously overpriced and unrewarding/ annoying experience.
Of all the scooter apps I've used, this is by far the worst by an order of magnitude. Between errors, weird speed governors that don't work properly, and difficult support, they actively make a process that I've seen work at least reasonably well with multiple other competitors as challenging as possible.
costs are a little unclear. slow zones or no ride zones catch you by surprise and can happen +-20 meters away from the marking on the map. scooters have plenty of range and grunt, great fun
