User reviews
The application should recognize the input of physically or Bluetooth linked devices as direct input. Pressing buttons on my controller or linked keyboard should not cycle through the controls on my phone. My phone should have the ability to sens the commands directly to the firestick via the remote app. Particularly: xbox, backbone, keyboards.

Fire remote app," has a continuous problem; staying connected! I have to restart fire remote app every 20 30 min due to failure to stay connected! The problem is not with my wifi or phone period , so it is due to the apps insufficient ability to stay connected! Thank you and hopefully this issue will be corrected!

Not the best remote. Connectivity is always annoying. If the tv isn't on, it will likely not be able to connect, unlike a regular remote. Interface isn't very clever. It's just basic tv controls with a keyboard function. You would think that using a smart phone as a controlling apparatus, the possibilities would be endless, but no. Much better tv's out there, much better digital remotes. Once I'm done with this tv, I will not be purchasing another fire tv or using this awful remote again.
