The app works well with my cheap Canavis DVR, and I have been using it for years. I recently discovered that the ads (specifically the full-page, unskipable one when you first open the app) can be turned off in the settings which was a huge relief. I never really minded the small banner ads, but being able to disable the startup ad was a major improvement.

Tornado Aftermath, 2024-05-23Update 2-9-24: The ads have gotten so much worse!! I opened my app and couldn't bypass a video for Best Fiends. This is ridiculous! I didn't mind the ads at first. The ads I receive now are loud and inappropriate random games. It takes longer to access the DVR now. At least have an option to pay for ad removal. I'm currently looking to replace my SANSCO system simply due to the ads on the app.

Amy Harp, 2024-02-09Update: Someone could be breaking in & you to the app to see multiple ads before getting to your camaras. Also they stop emailing me back trying to fix the situation. I still didn't get my saved videos back. All deleted! Updated: Dec. 18, 2023 When you download your videos they want you to give them permission to read & write your sd card to see if your "normal" to use Xmeye. What? This app is Terrible!! Terrible! I updated the app and it deleted all my important saved videos! What is going on?
