I recently discovered that the ads (specifically the full-page, unskipable one when you first open the app) can be turned off in the settings which was a huge relief. I never really minded the small banner ads, but being able to disable the startup ad was a major improvement. |
| 2024-02-09 |  | | Update 2-9-24: The ads have gotten so much worse!! I opened my app and couldn't bypass a video for Best Fiends. This is ridiculous! I didn't mind the ads at first. The ads I receive now are loud and inappropriate random games. It takes longer to access the DVR now. At least have an option to pay for ad removal. I'm currently looking to replace my SANSCO system simply due to the ads on the app. |

I still didn't get my saved videos back. All deleted! Updated: Dec. 18, 2023 When you download your videos they want you to give them permission to read & write your sd card to see if your "normal" to use Xmeye. What? This app is Terrible!! Terrible! I updated the app and it deleted all my important saved videos! What is going on? |

Now they have it full of extremely annoying and overly aggressive ads (ads that use sound too.. huge turn-off). Idk even know if you can get an ad-free version or not, but it's absolutely annoying to use. |

Then they added an annoying add screen that slows the process-- particularly obnoxious when you're trying to get into your system quickly. Now... Now it doesn't even work. All cameras show as loading, but never do despite the system being fine otherwise. |

The controls are overly sensitive to the point of unusable, pressing any control for a millisecond causes the camera to pan/tilt uncontrollably for 20 seconds. Full screen controller works OK ... but lacks zoom control. A PTZ control speed slider would be ideal. Other than that it's great .... |
| 2022-06-12 |  | | BUYER BEWARE Everything was working fine didn't have problems like most people. I could view on my phone with WiFi and with phone data. On 6/6/22 all of that stopped and now when I try to open the app it crashes. Tried to reinstall, same thing! Tried a different phone, SAME THING. W T F!? Need some help or a fix! Or I suggest you buy a different camera system. |

Updated 12/18/21- Still dont have the ability to get alarms to phone and from dvr to tv via hdmi constant alert popup even if you turn them off, no new firmware for update, no way to add users to current profile via app/website. |

I could still use the app to check on my family while at work. I finally got a new monitor today and yet the app isn't loading. Tried uninstalling and that and now I get an error code. Please fix. |
| 2020-12-22 |  | | I am modifying my review some. The issue doesn't seem to be the app. It's the cloud server the app is connecting to. It may be blocking the new version of the app. What I did was bypass the cloud server and use the DDNS ( Dynamic DNS option ) . I then open a port on my router and connected directly to my NVR. It's actually faster to do this option instead. |
