The lack of an ability to set defaults in this app dates back for years. I never print photos and I never print in color, yet every single time I print from my phone I have to manually select both document printing and black/white printing. The ability to set defaults in apps was an innovation of perhaps 15 years ago. Sadly HP has never bothered.

Using A galaxy s23+ this app NOR the smart app connects easily IF at all. It usually takes way too much time to fool around with the apps, my phone, the internet conections and reading online to try to figure out why the heck it's not connecting from my phone to the Deskjet 2800e. Once in a while I can get it going for a WHILE but is very a unreliable and frustrating experience before it loses it again.

Works but still has old printer showing. Once in a while it doesn't print. Update: all sorts of printing issues the last year. NOT pleased at all with the app. Continue issues with the app as of 11 /2/24. Granted printer is no longer made BUT ITS A MESS. Why do I constantly have to select printer. Or ot prints 1st time but not 2nd time.
