Maybe you ought to update your developers? The speech mangler. Again another app that used to work perfectly or close to, updated until it no longer works properly. I spend more time with corrections then I have convenience with speech to text, generally. This keeps getting worse and worse and worse. It generally works but I spent way too much time correcting it's misinterpretations, and it's self corrections. No updates . It sucks without the latest update, and continues to downgrade.

Haven't tried this newest version, but I use speech-to-text all the time, for years and it seems to consistently get worse every year. I really want to like this, but it does very weird things with punctuation, breaks sentences up randomly not following any grammatical rules. Words are very often coming out incorrectly and sentences are frequently butchered. I'm holding out hope that one day this will improve
