| 2024-12-02 |  | | I suppose it's getting better over the years, but I've been an Google Assistant girl for as long as I can remember. Was low key obsessed with Pixel phones until Google started pricing them way beyond their value. Even since, still opt to use Google Assistant over the alt option. Even have the whole Google Nest/Home system. Yet 30+ devices & 15+ yrs later, Google Assistant STILL fails speech recognition 95% of the time. Honestly, it seems like Google products/features are declining altogether. |
| 2024-11-22 |  | | Figured I would use this app to try to write this review. It often comes up with words that don't make any sense, randomly putting letters together, not creating words whatsoever. It definitely has a hard time understanding english. During this review I only had to correct 4 issues. Most of the time. it's like talking to an elderly person. You have to speak loud. Clear And it probably still is not gonna hear you correctly. |
| 2024-11-22 |  | | I really don't know what the problem is but after years of doing voice texts this thing still doesn't put down what I say and sometimes even having seen it in print the program changes it to the final draft so I give up what's the problem? I have noticed if I try to speak in an Asian accent it understands me almost 100% of the time and puts down what I say. |

The first app at the bottom which is "recommended" (not by me it isn't), is named Android Exploits. lol. So that implies TTS has to do with exploits? dunno how to interpret that. 5 stars if it werent for it translating everything on my screen for any website or app that wants to. |

The worst thing you can do is"disable" -that really only hides it (so you aren't aware as it adds ALL PERMISSIONS to itself). Before your phone is even unboxed, it can be remotely turned on, assigned a unique UUID, and tracked. While you are setting up initial password (and waiting) your Google account is remotely taken over then they bide their time...THIS APP ENABLES TOTAL ACCOUNT TAKEOVER |

It is Extremely time-consuming going back through your messages to correct ..the arrows made by this app... manual correction....errors made by the app errors are extremely time-consuming and frustrating time. I can say something like, "bathtub" but it will write something like "restaurant" |

I really want to like this, but it does very weird things with punctuation, breaks sentences up randomly not following any grammatical rules. Words are very often coming out incorrectly and sentences are frequently butchered. I'm holding out hope that one day this will improve |
| 2024-10-26 |  | | The keyboard is awful to type on. I hardly get a right word when using speech to text. It never gets words correct and inserts words I didn't type. It's like an anxietized brain that can't get anything right. I know. I been there. The cursor goes somewhere else; and when I start typing, I realize it's in the wrong spot. Then I have to erase that and go back to the right spot and start over. It is very very frustrating! This is a brand new phone. I wish I had chosen differently. |

Every day, I talk-to-text my coworkers with their assignments for the following day. 9/10 texts have the same street name, yet, talk-to-text ALWAYS corrects it to something absolutely bogus. Then when I say Suite, it puts sweet. Every. Single. Time. And every update, it's like I have to retrain the software to accept the same words. It's exhausting and infuriating. |

I'll certainly expect it to continue 🫵🌟 😊⚡ Hello, there's a delay and with this delay, words will duplicate themselves after the delay catches up. I use voice to text on a couple of time sensitive apps and we're paying for this app (technically) and deserve better. It continues to miss words and when the planets align so to speak, it works perfectly. |
