Sorry to be dramatic with one star, but a recent update has made Translate use "detect language" when it's initiated from the context menu, and that overrides the fact that I'm always translating from Japanese. Any kanji winds up translating as Chinese, so it's entirely obnoxious. Please restore it to the actually-functional settings it used to have.

Good from word for word translations, but average to poor on translating to other languages that use different sentence structure like Korean. Also not up to date on many commonly used words. Volume is off notice comes up often when trying to hear a translation even when volume is NOT off...same happens with Google Maps. Wish Google would fix these bugs. 😡😡😡

(just general feedback) I think that app has more potential. Entering manually and editing texts should be a straight forward experience. Right now it's quite a pain. I would also rethink the Google Keyboard app concept. And I would make Pixels fully usable with one hand. You could move weight balance to the bottom direction. And never loaded "Tell us more (optional) field raises questions. This bug hasn't been fixed for years. At least, on Pixel 7 Pro.
