WARNING: Don't pay for a subscription until they fix their technical issues. I've been having the same issue other users have been having; you get charged for the subscription but it doesn't work. Luckily, I was able to get a refund both times that I tried. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app doesn't help. It looks like this has been going on for 2 months or so, based on other reviews. No response from customer service. My kids are bummed!

Not bad. I got this so that when I'm away for work I can call home, read my daughter a story and share my screen on the video call for her to follow along with the illustrations. Definitely like that you can save favourites. There seems to be some sync issues with the web/browser and the app though. Favourites added on the web page are not showing up in the app. Quite annoying especially if you have a toddler that wants to hear her favorite books again....and again....an again. Lol.

The Epic App has awesome content! But when I let my son use it, he inevitably ends up only doing Read-To-Me (RTM), consuming the content passively instead of actually reading. I know that the application has a button to pause the RTM feature. Unfortunately, my son would never use this button when I'm not around. The problem is that the application lacks the parental control to *permanently* disable this irresistible AV media feature. I challenge the developers to add such an option to the app
