I have used this as a replacement for iready, and it still sucks. Every time I get a question wrong on the skills, it takes like 6 to 10 points away, like why, you only get 2 3 points. If it's supposed to be for kids then make it interesting for them. I always thought it would be better than iready, because they only do the diagnostic once, but on the other stuff, it's not worth it.

There are several problems with it. 1. It doesn't encourage kids to learn. From experience, everyone in my elementary classes hated this app. There's no fun system, bright colors (unless you count green), or rewarding feel. 2. The points it takes away are not in level with the points you get. 3. The game does little to tell you what you did wrong. Sure, when you get something wrong, it will pull up a little show of how you got it wrong and how to solve it. But many times,it doesn't make sense.

The developers clearly did not know what they were thinking. The point system is HORRIBLE. When you get a question right, it boosts you up 2 points, maybe 3 or four, if they're feeling generous. But when you get a question wrong, it will kick you back 10-15 points. There is no "point system" because it's so inconsistent with how many points it will add and deduct from your smartscore.
