I was hopeful this would be a good app because it had many of the languages I need to communicate with my students. However, upon trying it, the voice recognition is HORRIBLE! I tried to speak some phrases I knew in other languages, it didn't recognize them accurately. Even in languages I am very knowledgeable or mostly fluent in, such as Spanish and German, it couldn't recognize what I was saying. It was even horrible in English! Absolutely useless and very disappointing.

Free version was working fine for quite a while but June 2024 release does not load on current OS for Samsung phone. BAIT & SWITCH WARNING: Just 1 mo after signing up for $4.99 MONTHLY subscription they billed $39! Using the Pro version, the mic button errors out within 1 sec "Didn't catch that. Try speaking again." Never works, all updates applied. If there's a dependency on other services access to mic, that needs to be explicitly stated.

Very user-friendly, extremely useful. If you don't have this app, you should definitely at least try it. I think of it as another essential app like a calendar or calculator. I tried couple of other translation apps a few years ago and none came close to ease of use. iTranslate has been in my toolkit ever since. Thank you developers 😊 Top Notch!
