Not a useful app and low focus on the customer experience. It does not show minimum amount due or due date when you view your credit card balance. I would encourage you to benchmark your app with MSUFCU. They can accomplish a useful app at 1% of your size. Also, I think they've revised my interest rate down six times in the last 3 months.

I've got the same problem as several other reviewers - for some reason now it's impossible to pay in a cheque which is a complete pain. Been trying to pay in a cheque and it constantly asks to adjust it then takes a blank photo before saying the session has timed out, I've been through this several times and have given up. Same happened with the last cheque I had, had to take to a branch, the machine also did not work, queued at the counter and was told I could have done it on the app!

This app was mostly ok until the latest update that rendered the cheque paying-in function useless. It constantly glitches, won't capture an image and then kicks me out of the app. I've had numerous calls and chats with HSBC customer services but they are just gaslighting me by telling me there's no problem with the app, when there clearly is a problem. It hasn't been doing this for the last 2+ years I've used it. It's a shame.

App was previously good, but recently plagued with issues, won't move pass loading screen etc. As it's key to any online banking services (even if using a pc), these are not minor inconveniences. Also can't raise a complaint without being logged in, which their issue conveniently prevents. Customer support will just gaslight you about android versions or ask if you can talk to them on social media (because secure communication and banking don't mix apparently)

The app says it needs an update and takes me to the HSBC website. It then gives me the option to go to the Play Store to download it. But according to the Play Store, the app is up to date? The app also needs to allow me to remove payees for transfers instead of having to log in to the website. it wouldn't be an issue if every time you change the reference for the same payee, it adds them to the list again.

Further wdit following reply from HSBC: My phone is running android 14. Please actually fix this issue instead of just blaming customers. Edited 5.12.24: Once again this app has stopped working! It does not load anymore. It just hangs on the start up screen. So I can't access anything at all!!!! Please fix this ASAP! Like other reviews, since the update I have been completely unable to log in. I cannot access anything. Extremely frustrating and awful customer service.

Utterly non functional cheque deposit system. Constantly crashes the app and invalidates the auth token when pressing cancel forcing a repeat of the process. Take about 10mins for it to actually accept an image and then it says it can't read the details despite being in daylight on dark background with perfectly clear image. Spent an hour trying this and still won't work

I'm sorry but the app has become quite annoying. Crashes at start multiple times.. Around 12 times to say the least. I'm at a stage that I really think that I should uninstall it completely. Edit. Latest update absolutely destroyed the app. 20 attempts to open the app and nothing, it just crashes as soon as I open it. I don't want to keep restarting my phone for an app to work, it beats the purpose of an app. Please fix this or remove it entirely.

App is quite adequate and has all the necessary features. Fails to open however on multiple occasions which seems to be resolved only by restarting. Likely an issue with the biometric login features of Android rather than the app but only one that seems to have an issue on a regular basis.

I am setting up an account as I will be moving to UK for work. However, during the identification, while the passport scanning works fine but when it comes to face scan, it does not work at all! I tried it like 50times now! It always say "no movement detected" even after I tried nodded in 10 different ways!!
