App summary
The New International Version (NIV) is an English translation of the Bible first published in 1978 by Biblica (formerly the International Bible Society). The NIV was published to meet the need for a modern translation done by Bible scholars using the earliest, highest quality manuscripts available. Of equal importance was that the Bible be expressed in broadly understood modern English.

Great app for reading the Word. Easy to maneuver and I read from it every night. HOWEVER the ads being played are not Christian and often show sinful things which could Christians to stumble. I have no idea if the makers of this app are believers but even if not they will be held accountable for the ads shown before a Holy God. If the ad content can be changed I'd do so immediately. I'm tired of looking at images that are not of God. Some are really offensive and promote serious sins.
Bible in your purse or pocket. I use mine mainly at bedtime or in poor light conditions and travel. So much easier than struggling with a book. You can highlight words, verses, or passages. You can resize the print. The ads at the bottom can be a bit annoying, but expected these days for free apps. Overall very pleased with what this app offers.
Completely inappropriate ads. Google ads keep showing ads for tic toc which shows a bunch of naked women. I have never viewed this content and certainly don't want it on my phone while I'm trying to read the Bible. I reported it 3 times using the feedback button, but Google keeps bringing it up. Hopefully I can find a better Bible app.
