| 2024-12-01 |  | | Bought this thing 3 years ago. Connected it and within 3 days disconnected and replaced it bc it was nothing but trouble. NOTHING worked except the screen. Kind of. Even that didn't always do what it was supposed to. Well, after all this time, decided to try it again. Hasn't been 12 hours and I'm pulling this POS again bc yet again it's nothing but problems. Won't update, turns something 'On' but nothing helpful. It's 60° in my house yet the thermo is set at 70. I'll done trying with this thing. |

I preshopped at Walmart and Amazon looked at this and that, and from a simple review video about this Vine Thermostat, I picked it as my replacement. It has a touch screen, a wifi app for easy control. And it was to install even for a dummy like me. My big Wow! about this item is the advanced menu, you can control the cycles, hysteresis, and a bunch of other stuff |

Basically all I can do it see when my Thermostat is on or off and change the house temp. No other features work. Honeywell is looking better anytime now. |
| 2022-07-06 |  | | Second time we decided to the app back on my phone and have the option to set it when we're away, but just as bad as a vine thermostat itself, garbage and wipes out all the programs and the last time I couldn't get any kind of help from "customer service" ?? Can't even get my AC back on line tonight and it's not going to let me lower the temperature so I'm going to be sleeping in 95 degree house tonight, but it's not going to be pretty when I get up and get in touch with them. Stay away! |

(also, app said there was an update, but play store doesn't...) thermostat is updated. Too bad, could be nice unit, guess it's OK standalone? | 2022-04-10 |  | | I'm not really sure why this gets such a bad rap. It a little tricky to set up but once it is the app works great! When programming the times and temperatures a confusing bit is that you set the start time only for the period. The end time of the period is set by the start time of the next period (or midnight if it's the last period). And Alexa works fine. Overall I recommend this app and thermostat TJ-225. At $63 on Amazon you get a lot of features for much less than other smart thermostats. |
| 2022-04-01 |  | | The thermostat I really like but this app sucks! I try and change the temp and it never changes. I have to repeat the temp change over and over and over. The same with switching from heat and cool. Wish they would fix this problem! Then the under the energy tab, the date is off by a few days and the temperature data shows it was 210° inside my house. Which I know isn't correct. They truly need to fix the commutation between the app and the thermostat. Sometimes it works great but not all time |
| 2020-11-23 |  | | constant issues , i regret buying this thermostat if your on the fence buy what ever other one you ar looking at. nothing but frustrating. half the time wont load. have issues all the time with the temperature. i have it set to 70 at all times durring the summer and the air stays on and will cool down to 60. my electric bill this month is out of control becouse of these malfunctions. run away from this product and fast ! |

Edit: now I cannot even access the thermostat without registering and going through a painful setup process that hangs and doesn't continue to setup |
