It is ridiculous that it will not allow you to add the passport information bu hand, you have to scan it and the app will not work to scan! I tried it with two different phones, and there is no way to do it on the website, it has to be done in the pohone app! Sorry bit it is so frustrating everytime, I will not fly in volaris anymore!

Do not waste your time with the app. I went online to check in, directed to download the app. There is no longer an option to check in through their website. The app just does not work properly. The camera to scan the passport just does not do a good job. No option to add the passport information manually either. It's a waste of time.

I received an error messages at the last step before check-in. I am very dissatisfied that the app is the only way to check in. The app is not user friendly and there are often times errors on personal information that can not be edited. Having customers scan their passport as part of the check in process presented many challenges for my mother traveling from Mexico to the US.
