Unity Remote 5 - Game Testing Made Easy

"Unity Remote 5" is an Android app that facilitates testing and viewing games live from within Unity Editor 5.4 or later. By using your Android device as a remote control, it streams touch, accelerometer, gyroscope, webcam, and screen orientation events to the Unity Editor. App summary

With Unity Remote 5, you can use an Android device to view and test your game live, right inside the Unity Editor 5.4 or later. Unity Remote 5 makes your Android device act as remote control. It streams touch, accelerometer, gyroscope, webcam and screen orientation change events back to Unity Editor. This is useful for rapid development when you don't want to compile and deploy your project to Android device for each change and prefer to use the Unity Editor Game window instead.

This app works flawlessly. If it doesn't work for you it's because you need to set your build settings to Android in the unity editor, and close unity. Turn on developer mode on your device and, turn on USB DEBUGGING in the developer settings. Once you plug the USB into your computer, make sure file transfer is selected, and let it install the drivers it needs before re-opening unity. There are some good YouTube videos that walk you through it, step by step if you still can't get it working.

It works well but I wish that when I play test, it's actually the game playing on my phone and not a "stream" of it from the PC because there's a lot of delay, lag and the resolution is quite bad. I don't know if that's possible tho but the app works well

I got this working on my first try. You will need the Androud Build Support installed on your project (Install with Unity Hub), switch platform to Android on your Build Settings, have your phone on USB Debugging with your computer (Search on google how to turn it on on your phone), and set the Editor to use Any Android Device on your Project Settings > Editor. Also try enabling File Transfer on your phone. Hope this helps.
