Notes:
- Calibre Sync is not a reader app. You must install and use one of the many excellent reader apps available.
- Only Microsoft OneDrive for Personal accounts (shared) are supported. Please email us if you observe any inconsistencies.
- Due to restriction in Box API, Calibre Sync must acquire write permission in order to download files, download is not a read action on Box. Calibre Sync guarantees that it will not perform any write actions against your data in Box cloud account.
- Calibre Sync use WebDav API of Nextcloud and OwnCloud services, and it requires case sensitive file system to work properly. Therefore, you must make sure that your libraries are set up on case sensitive file system (Linux, recent MacOS, Windows NTFS with case sensitive enabled).

Permission explanation:
- Calibre Sync only requires "storage permission" to store downloaded book formats on your device.

For Lollipop devices you must have sdcard available so that the app can download books to external storage.

Was very reluctant to switch from Calibre Companion, but this does absolutely everything I wanted!

Sync is a button, little else. See status? A ProgressBar in a notification that freezes. Then, the cover download, which throws toasts if there are errors; only mean to see if it still works. If, meanwhile, you want to download a book... ouch. See, syncing is its main function: it works, but it should have a good status screen to see what and where it does, and with some control. The app is not bad, having Calibre libraries in the cloud is a good idea, but the author should improve the sync.

Copied my Calibre database from OneDrive to pCloud. Syncing working faster now. However, with the latest Calibre Sync update (6.6.0+267) the library is no longer syncing. New books added are not showing, but I am still able to retrieve the books that are showing. Sync info showing last sync Oct 19 (two days ago).
