It's great for basic functions: finding my balance, making a payment, updating account info. Beyond that, you really need to use their website, which I don't personally mind as I doubt I would use it for anything else, even with the option. However, this may be a bit frustrating to others who like more accessibility in their Apps.

UPDATE Easy to use when you can log in. I know my credentials are correct. However, when I use my Samsung Pass, which HAS the correct info, it tells me it's not. I have tried everything, down to uninstalling and reinstalling. luckily, that worked. The app has so many features depending on the types of cards you have.

Many 'store' credit cards are held and serviced by Synchrony. The app is okay; nothing special to note. The problem with Synchrony is that they will change your credit limit based on your carried balance (many stores offer '6 mo. same as cash' or 24 mo. with no interest'). This triggers the bank to lower your available credit because you carry a balance. Also, if you go several months to a year without using the account, Synchrony will CLOSE it without notice! I've had this happen more than once

What is the point of this app?! I simply want the ability to manage and pay both Amazon and Sam's Club using a single app/login. Instead, I have to log into two separate accounts to pay Synchrony. Why does Synchrony make it difficult to pay them? Is it intentional so that customers get hit with interest? There is no option to merge or combine all existing counts into one single app/login. Other credit card issuers do not have this issue.

Good luck getting into your account via this app. Not that 4.2 is a great rating, but I am surprised it is that high. Via the Synchrony site, it is very difficult to open a new account. Mine has been in pending status for days, and I am unable to fund it. When directed to a specific page and then follow the directions, you get there only to find there are no directions there to follow, and it is a dead end. It is difficult to figure out how to get anything done, and nobody seems to

Many accounts over the years. No issues with missed payments, login in only required my last 4 SSN and it auto linked my other accounts when it updates the app and did not require any new password set up. I do participate in Auto-Pay and Paperless billing and have NEVER paid a dime in interest or late fees to this company over 4 different credit cards over 15 years now with now being middle of last payment plan for a new bed after a car accident required one for my back.

Extremely limited. I can't even see an account history for my Amazon account. I don't have any issues with paying my bill on time for any of my other accounts - but for some reason, here, I'm constantly missing payments and having fees applied. I could swear I've set auto pay up like three times now. Hmm. Edit: I will never buy through Synchrony again, enjoy your pound of flesh.

One of the worst credit companies to work with really unreliable app and payment system. Setting up and making payments is always a hassle online or via the app. Also watch statements, even on autopay they will add random fees, or backdate them after changes of terms of service so they can steal money outside of original terms for people who pay reliably every month. Do the interest free no fee promo purchase gets them the profits. Fairer to borrow money from a local mobster. FU Bankers

The app used to be great. One stop for all accounts. Now, the app is useless. When you open, it says account name, and you can't get past that. The only way I have found to access my accounts is through the website, so why do we need this app then? Whoever is running things at this bank doesn't seem to have a clue what they are doing. They close accounts when you pay them off before the promotion period is up. The app just shows they don't have a clue.

If I could give less stars, I would. This garbage company somehow has a lock on almost every major retailer to manage their credit cards. Not only do they make the worst possible decisions every update, but also chooses to log you out every time. Wouldn't be a problem if it didn't require the single phone number you have tied to your account with no flexibility. I changed carriers and now have no access to login. Can't change the phone number without the (you guessed it) phone number!
