2022-08-20 | Ilpo Härkönen | Coworkers sending emails late at night causing overnight stress? Not anymore. This app has given me steady stress reduction for years. You open the app once and it just keeps working forever from that point forward without even notifying you about its existence, silently guarding you from the background. Definitely a must have.
2022-03-29 | Katie Toschlin | This app is bomb for anyone trying to find some piece from the life of constant notification. You can set up a bunch of "rules" which are just times you want to receive notifications. Anything outside of those times, you won't. Set up one or multiples, and enjoy the lack of communication.
2022-02-14 | Emilie Lajarige | EDIT: I have allowed the app to ''autostart'' and now it seems to work perfectly! Hank you! :) The concept is great but it doesn't really work. I still get work emails way past the set time and that's frustrating. Is there anything we can do to solve this? Thank you!
2022-02-11 | Jeff Sebestyen | I have had this app installed for 2 years. I wouldn't be able to use the Gmail app without it. This app allows me to simply set a schedule to keep certain email accounts quiet, without going through a bunch of settings. It keeps a healthy separation of work life and private life.
2021-09-06 | Brian | A great quality of life app, so simple, yet so amazing! Works well, no issues for me with crashes or bugs. I wish there was an app that did the same thing as this for text and phone calls too.
2021-08-26 | Rachel McCarthy | Fantastic! Can turn my work emails off. No more stupid emails at 11pm that I spend time tossing and turning all night trying to think of something professional to say. No more waking up at 2am to notification sounds for Gmail. Has really made a significant difference to my work/life balance. Easy to use and never have to touch it. The override feature is great for when days off appear or more likely disappear. Highly recommend! Thank you devs!
2021-05-20 | Daniel Marchewka (Spreddo) | Very useful. Works like a charm. My life is so much less stressful in the mornings and evenings when my email is off. It's my phone after all, why should it stress me out checking the notifications. Very well recommended
2021-02-02 | Dan Sloane | DND wasn't enough for me. I needed to stop accidentally seeing emails that came in during my down time. If you're working across multiple timezones, it's really useful. Stopping email sync means you can keep your phone for taking photos and distractions other than work.
2020-12-05 | Mike Faulkner | Works exactly as expected. I have a schedule set to disable my work email sync in the evening, and enable again at 7am. You have to make sure your phone doesn't kill the app otherwise notifications will not turn back on as scheduled - that's nothing to do with the app, but worth noting!
2020-09-22 | Andy Whittle | I installed this hoping to stop receiving work emails over the weekend and also at ungodly hours in the morning. It switched the emails off fine at the time I set, but the following morning by 8.30 no emails. Strange! Checking the sync settings within gmail, it hadn't been switched back on again. Switching on manually, cue a ****-load of emails coming in. Uninstalled. Waste of time. |
