User reviews
I canceled this subscription, but it continued regardless. The service has been poor, I encountered more issues when trying to cancel again. The product is overpriced. I’ve found a more affordable alternative that's cheaper. Even the content I initially thought would be helpful turned out to be irrelevant. I'm extremely unhappy with the service and the overall experience. The app kept freezing when I tried to cancel, making the process even more frustrating. Would not recommend it.

DO NOT UPGRADE OR CHANGE SUBSCRIPTIONS- if you've been a loyal subscriber and you opt to "upgrade" to their new tiered format you will lose any books, audiobooks, & magazines, etc you've saved but did not open (ie your TBR list). You're now going to be charged an "unlock" for each and you get 3 books per month- unlimited reading is gone. And once you've switched you cannot go back to your legacy subscription. Amazon Unlimited, Legible, & Kobo are better options for readers.

Great if it works... Which it doesn't. I signed up for a free trial but then still get prompted to subscribe before reading everything. For howany apps there are on the market compared to Scribd it's just silly how expensive a subscription is. Also, nitpicky but you have to click 3 CTAs that are all essential "next/continue/read" just to get to content.
