| 2024-07-10 |  | | I'm very happy with the Connectwise Screen Connect service through computer usage and the actual UI and connectivity is good through the mobile interface but the inability to remember the login or 7 day trust authentication and have to login and wait for the MFA code to send every time is infuriating. Auto and manually saving credentials to Google for the site and app, wiping my Pixel even did not help. Would be great if it actually remembered credentials and the 7 day trust authentication |
| 2024-07-09 |  | | A few weeks ago the Android client stopped connecting to my on-prem installation. Windows and Linux clients still work , just not Android. Nothing changed on our server. Tried app on another phone, same thing. Migrated the installation to another newer server, same thing. Tried a cloud-based trial, works fine. Finally managed to locate an older APK of the app from few months before the last update and... all fine again. So their recent app update is suddenly incompatible with my server, thanks. |

Sometimes I can close & reopen the app multiple times and then it will work, but even that has become less & less effective. The issue only occurs in the mobile app. I do not have the problem when using my laptop. Unfortunately, my phone is the device I use most for remote work. |

There is no where to log in, at the top like on the side. When attempting to use the admin url, the app puts a "/Guest" at the end so I can't even log in when putting a "/login" at the end because it will come out as /login/guest, which is not a valid url. This app is primarily for users that wants someone to log into their device, and not the other way around. Its useless |

| 2023-04-27 |  | | I've been using Connectwise Control since it was Screenconnect long before connectwise bought them. Connectwise Control is hands down the best remote app for Break/Fix and MSP/MSSP businesses. The app has a few quirks that need to be addressed though. For one, a lingering issue going on 2-3 years now: attempting to backspace to correct typing mistakes does not immediately recognize, so you have to hold down backspace until it works. Please fix it.. 3 years still waiting! |

That gets messy having more than one of the same device. changing the name in the console is not good either as the device could be on either cell or wifi. As the ip / network changes a new connection is created in the console beyond the static name. |
