It's really good app for kakuro, but the ads glitch out and make the game unplayable at times. I uninstalled but might come back if it's fixed. Edit: the glitch/bug is that the bottom ad will take up about 70% of my screen ad I can't play anymore Edit: ended up paying ad free and completed all Very Hard and Evil puzzles. Good game
Pros: The price is fair and the settings are decent. I like that it doesn't automatically remove pencil notes when I input a number and that I can turn off all error indicators as I like more of a challenge. Cons: Even the "evil" mode is FAR too easy which defeats the purpose for advanced players. Games in the hardest mode can take me 1-5 hours to complete in other apps/on paper. In this app, I'm averaging about 5 minutes each. I finish a pack of 10 in under an hour. Disappointing.
Gentle enjoyment! Nothing flashy, just quiet serene puzzles. I must start with, the $2 to remove ads is well worth it. The interface is elegantly simple and the hints/clues/warnings are integrated so intelligently as to make me wonder what other game designers are doing. At first I thought it was simply a matter of "everyone's doing it" but the toggle between light and dark mode is extraordinarily helpful when playing at night. Highly recommend.
