1 star. Your range characters can teleport through your melee characters to attack but not the other way around?? If a range hero is on a tile blocking a door, no one can walk or attack past them. Your range hero however can teleport through your melee hero & put themselves out of position & mess everything up. For if a range hero is struggling on a door tile, then no melee hero can help or walk through them. The food mechanic is abysmal & unrealistic as you can't scavenge or stockpile. 1 star.

This isn't such a bad game. Previous comments mentioned the game was difficult, it is, but if you can't solve a level in 20 resets, then you're fully justified to uninstall. Is the game more like puzzle solving and less like tactics? Sure is. But, it's ok. It's the characters you want. And you want to figure out which boxes give you food. I enjoyed the simplicity and I look forward to more. I only took off a star for the shortness.

Game is fun, but very hard. As of writing this review I'm at the second to or last mission with the van. No RPG, pure turn based strategy. As game progresses the difficulty skyrockets, and seems more or less a puzzle game. The reason for saying the game feels like a puzzle is because it feels like there's not as much strategy with the endless amounts of enemies. Instead you're forced to figure out how to play the board/level rather than actually using your units to win. About 12 hours to beat.

I wanted to wait until I beat the game with all survivors before making a review to see how I would truly feel about the game at the end and I must say I absolutely love it. I adore how well balanced the game is, when I first unlocked the 2 damage knockback character I first assumed they would be the character I least used (excluding the literal child) however the finale made me realize how useful that knockback truly is. I also love how the final mission plays out, it's a true test of mastery

-Fun tactics game. -Fairly short, but I think the concept was running out of legs by the end. -Had no problem with the difficulty, was able to perfect most levels. -Music was just fine, nothing to write home about. -Snes graphics where nice. -Zero rpg mechanics e.g. leveling, inventory management etc. -I could basically ignore the food mechanic, some more depth here might have been nice.

I've really enjoyed this game, if you enjoy strategy games, zombies, and survival tactics, then you should definitely give it a try. I loved playing it, it's not a super long game, but I really enjoyed it. The tactics are just hard enough to keep you having to plan out your moves, but not super tedious.

Great game, a tad too difficult even on easy and i wish there were more stages. If have preferred twice as many levels that were a little bit easier to beat. Nevertheless, it was good fun with great characters and a fun challenge. Important not: Played it with play pass, if i had to pay for every time I wanted to restart a turn i would've rated it one star.

This game is excellent! I love the characters, I love the difficulty, heck I even like the tasteful inclusion of in-app purchases (not at all needed, but can save having to restart a whole round.) I also like that so-far, the chapters are not SO long that restarting is the worst thing ever, unlike other perma-death tactical games. Highly recommend those looking for a tactical game with some real challenge to it!

Good game. Reviewers saying it's too hard are just bad. Conserving food is part of the strategy, so don't feed everyone after every mission, just the people who need it the most. Every character is useful, even the weak little girl since she can melee at diagonals. It was worth the cheap price. Only downside is that it's fairly short overall if you aren't having to replay stages a lot, but that's too be expected. PS. I did in fact finish the last stage without anybody dying. :)

Pretty good actually. Some of the levels towards the end become borderline impossible to save the entire party but it was still a very enjoyable experience up to that point. I would recommend it if you like strategy type games where you have to figure out where to place people and have them survive the encounter.
