Latest version seems to be a lot quieter than previous versions when it's connected to my the phone's speakers. I can barely hear people talking to me over the phone, even at the highest volume level (4) in the app. Edit (12/16/24): OK, so the problem was solved by replacing the ProWax filters in my MiniRite hearing aid and my CROS PX transmitter. Being new to hearing aids, I was not familiar with their proper maintenance. Things are back to normal. Apologies for the earlier low review.

One or both devices disconnect from my Pixel 8 Pro multiple times a day. So very frustrating. I get a phone call and can't hear anything due to my devices being disconnected. All other Bluetooth devices stay connected to my phone just fine. If it wasn't for the $6000 investment, I would trash the devices. My old Widex ones always stayed connected with no issues

Terrible since update to Companion app I have the opn1 miniRITE aids for several years..no problems. since the update to the new version..my hearing aids disconnect from my phone several times a day..for no apparent reason.either i have to try to re-pair them, restart my phone or toggle bluetooth and re-pair. The updated version of this app is awful. It randomly disconnects from my hearing aids at least three times a day. Connecting and reconnecting Bluetooth to the app is problematic at the very least. Sharing my experience with support was only via email. No chat. That's a problem. When I got a response they told me "you need to go into settings and force stop of the app each time". WHAT???? I spent 22 years in software --development on this is inept. Fix it.

I would probably rate it a 5 but here was the problem. At home with the new aids and after 30 minutes one aid disconnected. Reinstalled Companion software, reconnected several times but again after 30 minutes I lost connection. Replaced the TV connector optic cable that went to the TV and BINGO the problem is gone. So there may be other bad optic cables out there. I used a thicker cable. No fault of the audiologist who was great help . Did get help from Oticon to help narrow down the problem.

The features are OK, but my aids disconnect from the app at least once a day. No set pattern it is either the left, right, or both. The old app had no connection issues After the latest update, this has to be the worst app I have ever had. You can't walk away from your phone and expect the hearing age to stay connected to the app. I'm always having to reconnect. Finally, I've just almost decided that this really isn't worth keeping on my phone.

Give it 2 stars because it works at times. but hearing aids disconnect and often collect no data. I will take my other complaints to VA. I am grateful that I get these free, but its the 2nd pair in last year. 1st pair had to go back. I had another brand for 5 years, and they never failed. The app is a big problem. I was looking at post and read Oticon does not support Android platform, is this true? Update: I would give - stars Left hearing aid has started dropping every 4 hours

The app enhances my enjoyment of my Oticon devives. The ability to change the amplification of one device compared to the other helps to better hear conversations. The one time that I needed technical support, the online link got me what I needed right away. I think I am getting my money's worth with my devices and the app.

Update: It is too late-no Oticon aids 4 me.This app has many issues. It constantly disconnects with one or both hearing aids, which must be manually reconnected by the user. It does not allow a user to set special programs and lock them in for later use. The set programs are worthless and pick up more "background noise" and less voice sounds. The equalizer only works with streaming music from phone, not adjusting for outside music. I will not be buying Oticon hearing aids because of this app.

Does not work very well. When I first got the app it worked well for a month. The program fails regularly. The Program will not pair often. I have to delete the app. and reinstall it. Sometimes this does not work, with fresh batteries. I real PITA. Some company should make a better app. This one is a constant hassle.
