12/23/24 UPDATE: app is working again. Really hope there's a local version in the future. ------- Called support and apparently it's a known issue that there's an issue with servers on their end. I can't even login right now and constantly get a network error message. They should better communicate outages, and also be able to resolve issues faster as that was a couple days back now. App itself was good when it worked. Really should have a local version that's not cloud dependent for auth.

Dave Liu, 2024-12-24update: you can remove security altogether and turn off the fingerprint login. app has been greatly improved! The only issue now is periodically out of the blue one or the other devices may become offline and you have to reset it up which can be a drag in a time of need. app recently stopped working contact the amgrest and they applied a fix fairly quick! got me back up and running. Customer service is pretty good also even for non paid services

Champion Playerdo, 2024-12-24It keeps saying network error when the camera is connected to the router. It sends alerts, but I don't have access to the live video. I contacted support, but they don't care or try to help they just replied with a generic email with links to YouTube videos and such. Stay away from all of their products.
