hello, this game I found satisfying, but I looked into epilespy and realized its not so accessible for them. Even with the animations off (thank you devs), I worry those fast moving blocks and bright orange, and even the game message that pops up after the board fills, those might be too flashy for someone with a photosensitive disorder.
As the saying goes, if it ain't broke don't fix it. They "fixed" what was essentially a perfect app and the results are less than satisfying. The white background is harder on the eyes than the old yellow, and if you don't turn off the animations for some reason the entire field flashes white whenever you make a move. The resulting strobing effect is less than enjoyable on the eyes. App overall feels clunkier and chunkier. Can we get an do over on this?
Used to be a great simple game that I regularly played for several years. Recent updates have made it simply unpleasant. The game worked, and worked well. The added features such as achievement and leaderboard are just not necessary, every user knew when they got 4096.. The gameplay, while it has improved, is still clunky and lags, where it never used to. I hope whoever implemented the recent changes truly reflect on how they took a good thing and ruined it for many.
