It's great that this platforms exists, but with an extra $15 in fees & domestic shipping I wound up paying more than I wanted even after haggling a bit with the seller. Also my account was locked as suspicious just fir attempting to haggle a bit with a seller. Overall horrible experience for a deal that wasn't much of a deal in the long run.

Very user-friendly, though the filters & search parameters could be expanded upon/ improved. Great platform for small sellers, especially with no seller fees currently. However, I would actually vote for going back to charging the fees to the seller instead of putting it on the buyer. I've had less sales since they implemented that change.

Recently very glitchy. The app uses on average 37MB of RAM and 377MB of storage space, which is absolutely gluttonous for a shopping app. For context, both Ebay and my browser use about 15MB of RAM. It crashes a LOT. I purchased some things on here a while ago. Recently, Mercari added new fees and the shipping has gotten more expensive. I agree with the other reviewers that fees should be on the seller's end so they can choose prices. I don't know if it's worth shopping here anymore.
