Good app for safeguarding, but be aware there is NO backup or online storage if the app/device fails temp or otherwise. Best used for casual, unimportant notes, which defeats the purpose - for my needs anyway. Thankfully my notes are back. May use for passwords Review As of most recent update I cannot log in. Cannot recommend app or developer. Use this at your own risk. I guess no big deal unless you lose important stuff, which I did |

Last update a couple years ago. 1 star to try and prevent anyone getting invested and risk losing data if service shut down entirely or new security issue found and due to no longer in development, likely would not be patched. It is great app and shame that updates stopped. Never official but GitHub page just stopped and then nothing ever posted again. |

Already markdown apps are time wasting, but this feature not working wasted more time. Plus point about this app is that it is safe, its open source. But it says you cant change passphrase if you forgot, but in the settings there is option to change it, why are you misleading? Is it really safe? |
| 2021-02-12 |  | | It is wonderful, just a few improvements can be made, 1why can't notes be reordered, & 2when I try to move a note, it cannot be moved in the same space, to a different board but only to a different board in another space. & Last, it would be nice to have the option when desiring to move a note to a different board, to be able on the spot the creat a new board, instead of going out each time to create it & then return to move the note. Overall really osem app, thank you so much, bless you |

It is such an easy thing to fix ..please fix it. Also i dont think it can link to other notes, which is a big bummer. |
| 2020-10-28 |  | | The interface for writing a note has a claustrophobic limit of only 5 visible lines when composing. More real estate is given to titling and classifying, or three sparse buttons (tag, save, and formatting help) than for writing notes. Why is there no folding option menu? Why is the big top bar wasted with only a back button and veiw button? The frustration is glaring because in contrast to its primary feature, note taking, everything else about Turtl is so fantastic! |
