The damn thing is lagging now just typing this message with the ix12. Two years later... They don't offer the ix12 anymore. Gees, I wonder why . Because it sucks! |

| 2023-08-13 |  | | Spektrum ix 12 provides the most terrible and user unfriendly user experience of all the radios that I have ever used. Slow, slow ,slow. A rc buddy suggested this radio and I am ever so sorry I got one. Cant even access your pc without having to spend even more money on a dongle. Shame on you Spektrum!! Even Flysky is much much faster, more user friendly, just as capable and dont expect me to splash more cash to link my radio to my pc. Did I mention Flysky is vastly more affordable too! John. |
| 2023-03-09 |  | | I have done all the updates to the radio all firmware up to date. The radio keeps crashing. When i can get in to the system its extreamly slow at best. The time it takes to change screens is very long. I've had to do a master reset just to get the radio to boot up. In my opinion the IX12 is not a good radio. Don't buy this radio. |
| 2021-10-13 |  | | I havent used this radio in about 10 months, do I updated it and now the app crashes before it even finish's loading on boot up. If I launch it again it work. The new update changed some trim values on some of the control surfaces. I doubt Horizon even reads these comments or they would have already had a update available. |
| 2021-09-26 |  | | Why won't they fix the battery indicator issue? I have had this Tx since it released and it has reported VERY incorrect capacity since. It will show somewhere around 57% and it will actually have 97%. So sad Spektrum released a Lamborghini with a lawnmower engine installed. |
| 2021-03-02 |  | | After 3+ years I'm done fighting this piece of junk. I just ordered a Radiomaster TS16S Max. Open TL multi protocal. It's 1\2 the price of a ix12. I'm done with Spektrum Radios. I currently have 7, and had many, many others including their very first 6 channel. It is clear they are incapable of making dependable radios anymore. Shame, I love my DX7,8 & 9. Horizon; get back to basics, and don't make us pay big money to be your beta testers. Count me out unless you make this right with us somehow. |
