Don't purchase the ix12! The firmware & software support sucks. I did the last airware update. Now i see the app not responding message pop up more than i ever have. The damn thing is lagging now just typing this message with the ix12. Two years later... They don't offer the ix12 anymore. Gees, I wonder why . Because it sucks!

I thought it was my dream radio. It was exactly what I needed. But the Android system cannot handle what the transmitter is capable of. They discontinued it a week after I bought it after saving up for over a year to buy it. Not happy

Spektrum ix 12 provides the most terrible and user unfriendly user experience of all the radios that I have ever used. Slow, slow ,slow. A rc buddy suggested this radio and I am ever so sorry I got one. Cant even access your pc without having to spend even more money on a dongle. Shame on you Spektrum!! Even Flysky is much much faster, more user friendly, just as capable and dont expect me to splash more cash to link my radio to my pc. Did I mention Flysky is vastly more affordable too! John.
