For some reason this, once well loved and worked without any hassle nor confusion app, malfunctioned and stopped working all together as VLC remote for the program on the compute (even if yiu are on the same exact network and have a comparable android device). Not just this ~ lite ~ version of the app doesn't worm, all the other ones stopped working all together as well!! Has this really became the very last of the good times with,once dependable and the BEST media player to use??

Im extremely happy with this app! One problem I started having with the latest version/new phone[s22], was that i couldnt change the drive from C:/ to any other drive when browsing amd clicking "..". I suspect a NPE is thrown somewhere.. otherwise amazingly useful tool!

Does not work with newer phone PLUS it tries to get you to download something from a source outside Google Play AND it asks for permission to your contacts. Why would a remote even need that? Sounds sketchy.
