2024-12-14 | Daniel Hornbeck | Have to re-enter provider field very, very often. It nearly never saves. Not a huge deal EXCEPT that you also have to provide the provider's full billing address every time. Today it showed none of my saved providers, but instead lists my own name three times. It would be great if the app could show the EXPECTED remaining balance that includes pending amounts. My previous FSA has this feature.
2024-10-22 | Bob | Can't create an account. When I get to entering my phone number and tap Continue it just says something like "Oops! Something went wrong. Trying again may fix the issue" but it doesn't fix the issue. There is another button says Verify Another Way but when I tap that button it just takes me to a blank screen that says Verification at the top and there is no text or buttons or anything.
2024-10-03 | Veritas Aequitas | Edit: 12/04/2021: Received another collections notice for a bill paid through Health Equity App. Multiple calls to customer service appear to have been in vain, it's time for legal action. You've ruined my credit with the ridiculous collections. Becomes unresponsive AFTER you've entered Names/addresses/account numbers of Payees. Just another subpar app, linked to a company profitting off Healthcare in the United States.
2024-10-03 | Brian Welter | Oh hey look...they updated the app. Now its slightly less garbage. They seem to have finally fixed the constant crashing. Hallelujah. Still plenty of annoying bugginess. Try to search for an existing provider (literally the most recent expense) and it can't find it. Start to add new...just be careful not to click off any of the fields or it knocks you back. Adding a document? We'll just wipe out that provider again for you. I'm considering getting a job there just so I can fix this.
2024-10-01 | Alexis Dixon | I used to be able to use the app fine with no issues, but for the past 3 months I'm not able to log in. I've tried using my current login, which a pop-up appears saying there's a problem and that "trying again should fix it". I've tried resetting my password, which then gives me a pop-up saying the app can't save the new password. I've tried making sure the app is updated and I've uninstalled/reinstalled.
2024-09-01 | Brandon Thetford | The process for reimbursement is needlessly complicated and is a major pain for providers who aren't listed. Much easier just to do it on the website - even when on a mobile device. I actually got that suggestion from one of their own support personnel, and I can't thank her enough for the frustration she has saved me since the switch from Further, where reimbursement was MUCH easier. I mean cool that they're trying to help you keep better records, but PLEASE make provider optional!
2024-07-31 | Daniel Price | Only basic functionality, no ability to see the status of a payment. I think this is critical information for a phone app as that is info you need when calling a billing department. Also no access to scheduled payments which would be good to know when checking the current balance before using your card for a purchase.
2024-07-24 | Arturo Escorcia | Bugged, slow and works half the time even when running on a recent phone. This app is terrible but at least it has biometric support unlike their website. Update: They have recently revamped their app and it now works really well, they changed the UI and it no longer crashes, overall they seem to have fixed many of the issues the app used to have.
2024-07-20 | Wendy Rae Roush | In 2021, I said, "App takes forever to load, and more times than not, it doesn’t load successfully. When it does load, inaccurate information renders, functionality is null, and it's been this bad (or worse) for the last 3 months." It's 2024, and it's only gotten worse. It might be a small miracle if I can actually log in using the app. This continues to be a worthless app l.
2024-07-15 | Collin Nasseri | Changed rating to 1 *. Awful app. Can't wait for my HSA to rollover to Fidelity. Very buggy. Constantly get a popup to say to close app or wait. When you close the message, it pops up a few seconds later. Takes for ever to create a reimbursement. Also, not sure why it keeps asking to enter a medical provider when you have already done this on previous reimbursements. Very annoying and time consuming. |
