The game is fun, but holy moly is it IN YOUR FACE with the ads. Win a level? Ad. Restart a level? Ad. Wanna go back here? Ad. It's the wrong way to be doing it! I don't get anything out of those ads, they're just there and you're saying "give me money or suffer through ads". Go sell this game on Steam without any ads for $3. You'll do way better.
Love the game. I don't like how card mode was implemented at all. It's an interesting idea & I'd probably actually like it if you could get more than 1 card per round. Or if the AI could only draw 1 card like you. But the AI clearly doesn't have limits cause they play as many as they like. This makes some of the levels infuriating and feels like you're just trying different combinations til one works. The dev is dropping it from the maps which is probably a good idea, but it had promise.
As someone who had made the rounds playing turn based strategy games on Android (such as Polytopia), this is one of the best I've played. Definitely worth the price of the full game. re: cards mode: It seems like I'm one of the few who enjoyed the card mode on Map X. Card mode does turn the level into more of a puzzle rather than strategy game since there's usually only one or two ways to beat a level with the order of cards you receive.
