A great tool to have on the phone. I found it to be pretty simple to use (took a bit to get the distance from my forehead right), and accurate. Tested the body temperature reading against a standard digital oral thermometer I purchased from a CVS and the difference was only a few tenths of a degree.

Ian, 2024-11-19People giving it a worse rep than it's worth, I've found being able to quickly check temperature of food/surfaces (when accuracy isn't necessary) quite useful at home and work

Isaac Da Silva, 2024-11-15It's really good to have a thermal sensor on my phone and it's as good as most standalone ones as long as you go to the trouble to find out the limitations. But I think the attempts at making the interface easier and more intuitive are doing the opposite. When I want to see how hot my mouth or forehead is (to see if I've got flu, covid, etc) I don't need a complicated vibrating thingummy as I'm quite happy to just tap a button on screen. So I use the vegetable mode to check my temperature?!?
