2024-11-23 | Red Dragon | It's used to sync and keep all the apps that it works with up to date with each other but it doesn't do that any more. Some days it takes hours to sync, some days it just straight up never does. For example, my watches app shows I did so many steps. A calorie and food management app that also factors in exercise shows steps but gets that information by syncing from health connect. Some days it just stays at 99 steps and never changes. Rarely is syncing working.
2024-11-18 | Jason Llewellyn | This an app created with Samdung. This isn't a Google app per say. It's mainly for users who use a Samdung phone. When using this with Fitbit or Google Fit, you'll see a lot of missing data and other missing health information. My guess, Google is diverting your health info into something else, like their own data centers. This app will not sync properly, and deletes info. Do Not Use if you have the Pixel series phones. Stick with using Fitbit.
2024-11-14 | Samantha Sutton | Disappointed. I was trying to use this to sync data to a sleeping app on a Samsung after that app specifically stated to do so. Not only was I unable to sync my sleep data with the app, I couldn't even find the app under its permissions. I have tried everything I could to resolve the issue prior to writing this, but absolutely nothing worked. Honestly don't know why I even tried.
2024-11-07 | Tia Hofer | Doesn't connect anything. All permissions are given, and nothing. I am trying to link DexcomG6 and MyFitnessPal. Nothing. Useless. Also, this app is hidden on my phone. I searched my apps by name and it doesn't show up, but in play store with a simple search it shows as installed. Why is it hiding on my phone? Creepy. Uninstalled.
2024-11-03 | T W | App is glitchy & only syncs a portion of my data (sporadically missing days of data). I've lost count of how many times I've uninstalled & reinstalled this app to try to sync & capture all my data. This happened last month too & finally synced after the 5th or 6th uninstall/reinstall attempt. I've probably tried over 10 times now & I am still missing data. I don't recommend downloading or using the app.
2024-10-30 | Paris Bee | All of a sudden my app steps were calculating incorrectly from my Samsung watch to Google Fit (off by 6k steps!) Apparently Google Fit was not getting data from the health connect app. I trying reconnecting the permissions and now it will not reconnect. Always said "Something Went Wrong; Try again Later". I've now tried for 4 days straight with no change. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Still nothing. Now I can't use my watch for my games (Pikmin Bloom, Pokemon Sleep). Extremely temperamental.
2024-10-30 | Ralf Botchen | Does not work for me. Most apps that were able to share data with Google Fit before stopped working and don't even show up. Other apps that show up and say they are sharing data don't share anything even though all permissions are granted. That's really unfortunate, as it completely breaks my fitness routines and tracking of progress. Please Fix!
2024-10-29 | Susan Hawk | Since the Oct. 14, 2024 update, none of my apps are syncing. Samsung Health is no longer syncing data from Fitbit, MyFitnessPal, or BeWell. Fitbit & MyFitnessPal are no longer syncing with one another. BeWell is getting some data, but I am unsure of whether it is getting data from Fitbit or from Samsung Health. I've checked all permissions, and everything is allegedly correct, but nothing is syncing. It's a pity, because I love how Samsung Health used to show all my data together in one place.
2024-10-27 | Victoria Howard | This app was working fine to allow data between Fitbit app and Google fit and an app step up which my work is using for a challenge. However today it is only showing half the amount of steps that the Fitbit app is showing. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and rechecked all permissions. Its frustrating because my step count for my work challenge is now completely off and I can't figure out how to fix this.
2024-09-11 | Danica Rose | Don't waste your time installing. When I open the app, it just opens the permissions screen. Does not upload data from either fitbit nor withings despite having full permissions on both and several attempts to set up and sync from all 3 apps (including Health Connect, if you can really call the permissions screen an 'app'). Tried giving it a couple days in case it had a timer to sync, but no improvement. |
