I've been using Headspace for several years and used to really love it. Unfortunately, there's a buffering issue that's been ongoing for months. I get stuck buffering on meditations nearly every day. It doesn't matter if I'm on wifi, 5G, downloaded the meditations for offline use, or whatever. I've cleared my cache, Uninstalled/reinstalled the app, and still nothing fixes the issue. When my eyes are closed, I don't know the meditation has paused. This issue makes the app unusable.

Used to be really great but the interface is so overwhelming and confusing that I get more stressed out trying to find what I want to do than I was before, and I spend more time looking for the meditation I would like than I do meditating. Update, today I tried to open "Learn the Basics of Meditation" episode 2 more than 15 times and the app closed 3 times, and took me to the homepage 12 times.

This is just another subscription based app looking to steal your money on hidden auto renewals. They will not honor your request for cancellation even after you somehow navigate to where the option is listed. They will not cancel or refund your money even when you get back to them before the payment has gone through. Not a bunch of friendly people like you might think. Just another app out to steal your moneh

the meditations are good but the user interface is so hard. can't find things. labels for groups of things are inscrutable. Eg there are top categories for sleep and focus. Under focus? There's a bunch of sleep stuff. (I don't know if there's focus focus stuff under sleep, but cmon! This is sloppy.) it's really a disorganized hot mess. If they have ux designers, they need to empower them. Im on the fence about asking for a refund.

I have been using headspace for a couple of years now and thanks to it have made a lot of progress with keeping calm in stressful situations. This app is well designed and user friendly. Only feature request I have is one where a user can reset their progress regardless of what level they are in.

This app has a "today" section that I really like over the UI of other apps. I also like The Wake Up. I prefer the short videos about things like the ritual of making coffee or the lives of cicadas over the little mindful advice with animations. One thing is they have a 2 week trial, which I did a few years ago. I decided to try the app again and it still offered me the two week trial and didn't warn me I wasn't qualified for it. But customer support was understanding and gave me a full refund.

Poor and inflexible support I subscribed for a 14 day free trial and missed the cancellation window by one day and got charged for the entire year. They refused to refund my any money - not even a partial amount. To make the matters worse, they won't even allow me to transfer the membership to someone who can use it! For a wellness app, they sure want you to suffer!

Make sure to read the Ts and Cs for this app. In general, I found the app a bit clunky as a way to get you into meditation. It was difficult to create programs or track where you were on specific programs geared toward certain goals. I highly recommend free apps with a simple, more direct interface like Insight Timer over Headspace if you are trying to get a meditation practice going. The subscription model is scammy. If you are seconds past the renewal deadline, they refuse any sort of refund.

It's impossible to find simple meditations so I stopped using the app and was almost positive I made sure it was not set to auto renew. They charged me $75 for an annual subscription and will not refund me even the day after the charge was made. I guess they stay in business not through having a good product but through having a subscription scam.

Kind fo funny to me that this app used to be COMPLETELY free, and then when they saw it was actually helping people they started charging for it... Pro-tip, Balance is better, and they'll give you an entire year for free. Went out on a limb and got the subscription anyway, and I can't repeat lessons I've done before, including ones done by accident. App crashes every time. This has been reported multiple times by different customers with no bug fix yet.
