While the game itself is decent (once played the tabletop version years ago), this mobile port has a horrible tiny interface, disastrous tutorial, and if you need to close the app for whatever reason, you are unable to continue your game. I have no idea how well multiplayer works, my attempts at creating an account were foiled. EDIT re: developer reply: yes, I realize there is a menu option to continue games, however - as others have also reported - this feature is broken in my version
New update looks better graphically. However there's now a lack of push notifications, meaning that when I play online I have to open the app all the time to see if it's my turn. (Update: I thought this glitch had been addressed after the developer's note but it seems like it still has not).
The actual game is very good and the mechanics, on the whole, work well. Why three stars then? Two reasons: 1. EDIT...I have now found a place to load games. 2. Almost every game I play "locks up" during a free action or similar. Maybe the choose panel vanishes with no way to bring it back. The menus and things work so one can surrender. Doing this on the penultimate turn really sucks. EDIT2 This seems to be less common now.
