2024-10-07 | Jonathan Houston | App works well for me on my Samsung Phone. I have added six of my watches so far. Only hiccup was when I accidently tapped a watch that came up as I was inputting the model and because the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen covers so much, I was unable to find the delete option until a Citizen rep gave an assist. Some watches only offer the quick set page instead of the full instructions. Model AP5264-51P is not available to add in the app. | |
2024-08-29 | Juan Ayala | This app is absolutely terrible. I created an account and added all my watches. Trying to get back into the account is impossible. I've had issues in the past where it had me reset the password every time I tries to log in. Now, all I get is a message saying I'm already logged in but asks for email to send me a code and I cannot get on. | |
2024-05-11 | Bill Kinsman | The app is not OK anymore, but the watch, (CC-3005-85e) is outstanding! Better starts now is an apt motto. The watch has never been off by any discernable amount in the past 5 years and it sets itself, which is a major improvement over having to set a watch manually. I can report that it still has never been off by any discernable amount in all the time I have owned it. I don't know what happened to the app, but it doesn't even show my watch information or link to shopping. App is useless. | |
2024-03-14 | Tom Bachur | I have over 25 Citizen watches. The previous version of this app worked perfectly. This new version is trash, and that's being generous. It locks up at the opening splash screen. If I can ever get past that, I have a couple of new watches to add. This app will not allow me to "Submit" my registration - the button is grey'd out and I can not find an entry that is incomplete. Overall, this app is just a dismall failure. Citizen - I hope this is not an indication of what is to come!!! | |
2024-01-16 | David Abramson | Terrible. Registered a watch, but could add the serial number. Ended up registering again the web. Thought I'd use it to access the manual...nope, it won't load. Now several weeks later, the app won't get past the splash screen. You don't need the app. But would be nice if it worked and didn't waste my time (which I tracked on my nice new citizen watch 😉). | |
2023-07-27 | Mike | Citizen...come on, man!!! Serveral requests to register app. Click the link, and it just takes you directly to the Citizen website. This is my VERY entry-level experience in the watch. It's not a solid look when the paper with the watch says, "Please give us all your info so you can use this app that doesn't work properly." I don't see responses to others' issues. Maybe you will fix it? That definitely leaves bad taste in everyone's mouth. | |
2023-04-12 | Renae | I bought my husband a Star Wars watch he wanted. It doesn't come with instructions and requires an app download and registration. Annoying, but fine. He gets the app, goes through all the steps to register it, "downloads" the instruction manual, and when he clicks it, it just opens the play store with "pdf" in the search bar. We both have apps that can handle pdfs. We both have flagship phones and this app won't open the manual. The watch is too pricey to have such a garbage exp out of the box. | |

I registered with My Connect app. That was frustrating because my first instinct was to register on web site That was pointless. repeated with My Citizen, then finally done on My Connect. Each registeation screen was re-login be start, choose a password again. The systren is a mess. Folder included with watch directs to web site. Then after all was hard to pair. No notifications rec'd and Citizen help says download Google Wear OS too. Does not find phone! | |
2023-01-07 | Justin Thielman | App was a little clunky, I clicked to send the email authorization code, got the email, clicked the "Activate Account" link in the email, and the app didn't do anything. I reloaded the app and went through this process another two or three times before giving up and logging in with my Google account instead. That worked first try, and then registering was super easy. Love my new watch! | |
2022-12-09 | Marcia Middents | Everytime I scanned the app closed. Tried to enter manually, and it didn't recognize the numbers. Got out a magnifying glass to make sure I did the right numbers and it still wouldn't work. Then I would get a message that the app has a bug and try again after they fix the bug. Website is almost as useless. Pretty watch, but it shouldn't be this hard to register. |
