The app and system doesn't work. They seem to never know when a ride has ended. I've used bike shares in lots of cities and MOBI is the only bad experience I've had. City of Vancouver should just let Lime bikes in or whatever Montreal has been using for 8+ years

App is horrific. The forms suck and it uses a buggy web view. The rental is so-so. My bike was horrible and the chain and gears were all broken and the seat sucked. A few of the screens were unreadable and entering the code to rent took many tries. My friend's bike worked fine. We tried returning to three different stations and they were all full! No use in getting from point A to B if you can't drop it off anywhere near point B. I finished the ride and the app tells me my trip history is 0 min

Whoever Rogers hired to develop this app should be ashamed. App has internal server errors frequently, signing in loads forever or doesn't sign in at all and stuck on loading loop, there are no messages to confirm an action has been performed by the app. I tried entering a discount promo code and it asked for my card info, I entered the details expecting an overview of what I was paying for but it charged me without telling me what I paid for. Terrible UX/UI design and customer journey map.

The ebikes are pretty reliable, but the last few times I've rented a "normal" bike, there have been issues with brakes not working or gears not shifting, or the wheels wobble. I wrote this review because my last rental was so bad the neighbors were all looking at me as the bike made loud crunching noises.

I received a faulty message when trying to activate multiple bikes for my group. An attendant was present and did a manual reset twice for which I was billed (even though she was unable to release the bikes). Terrible app and faulty hardware.

Is the app capable of performing its basic functions? Yes. Does it have annoyances that interfere with some of said functions? Also yes. I am constantly logged out of the app, and logging in takes some time. Thankfully, basic features like viewing the map are able to function without logging in. Another gripe is that location is not automatically retrieved upon opening the map, but it's not too big of a deal as you can just hit the button.

App is generally easy to use and smooth. Updates on number of bikes or docks available is reasonably current/ precise. The process for notifying Mobi of a problem with a bike is terrible though. It takes you out of the app and requires you to enter all of your info again. I'm sure their maintenance would be better if they made it easy for users to flag bikes in need of repair.

The service is useful but the recent update to the red color theme is not. Red is the color that was used to indicate that a station was unavailable now they are all red by default. Stations that are unavailable are now yellow which is really difficult to see on the map.

I am still using a old third party app that is no longer available on Google Play for a few reasons: -loads info instantly -shows me all my favorited stations so I can see at a glance what my morning commute will be like It's surprising that a way older app is able to do better than the official one. Would be great if they also had an easier way to report issues on bikes by going to recent trips to select the bike you have issues with, without filling all the details on a form.

The app has been majorly updated and is now super easy and intuitive to use. My favourite feature is the ability to filter for the kind of bike you're looking for (ebike vs regular pedal bike), or if you're looking for an available dock, it can show that on the map as well. I honestly do not leave home without checking this app first for bike availability in my area - it majorly helps me plan my trip/route. If you're a regular Mobi user, this app is pretty much indispensable.
