The online or in app application of points works well but for those that order in person and may not have their phone or forget/don't get asked if you have rewards you are stuck with potentially not being to earn the points you got. 2024-07-27 | DJ C | The app was great when I first downloaded it. But with one of the latest updates that removed the ability to add your purchases yourself, it quickly declined. It is hit or miss if the QR scans at POS. I've had to email the rewards to have them added, and even then, they don't get added to my account. I've missed out on about $70 worth of purchases to the point where I've stopped frequenting Charley's. I hope they re-add this feature in the future. Otherwise, it's not worth it. | |
2024-05-31 | Brandon Ruiz | Don't get me wrong, Charlies is still one of my favorite spots to eat, but recently for the past few months the app for it has increasingly started to lack more and more to the point where it feels useless to use it. The monthly coupons that use to be available just straight up vanished and has been like this for close to 9 months now and now they just made to where the bar code scan on the receipt doesn't give you points and you have to scan it while paying instead of putting in numbers. Other similar apps for restaurants let me scan the receipt afterwards when I am sitting down. I just want to order my food and go. Points can no longer be added from receipt, and if you try to scan at register, it doesn't work most of the time. Deals have essentially gone extinct in app. All you get now is ads. 2024-05-22 | C C | App performs ok. Would be helpful to fix the Inbox messages. When selecting "dismiss" > "ok", the messages remain in the inbox. There is no response. (Android phone) Also, it would be nice to be able to apply the Entertainment book coupon through the app. The coupons (for next year) should be printed w/ a code. There's times their scanner doesn't work so you're gypped out of points. And it's faster to just input it while you're waiting for your food. Bring it back, then I think 5 stars is warranted. | |

I don't like pulling out my phone and scanning QR codes when ordering food as that holds up the line and I'd rather keep my phone in my pocket. I would always enter the code after eating to get rewards. They need the ability to scan barcodes back to the app! | |
2024-02-09 | Jeremy Green | You used to be able to scan the barcode on the receipt to get rewards. Then they made it to where you couldn't scan it in the app and had to type it in. Now, if you dont remember to show them the QR code before you order, you lose out on rewards. This also slows down the line and robs anyone who has been using the other methods to claim their rewards. |
