Initial Wi-Fi setup is a huge headache and takes manual extra steps not included in the instructions. Even then it takes many failed attempts--make sure a WiFi AP is within line-of-sight and be ready to stand on that ladder a while. The most recent app update broke it, and reinstalling did not fix, but yesterday's update finally did. Connecting this to HondaLink takes a ridiculously overpriced subscription ($100+!).. just to avoid pressing a button on your remote, but that may be Honda's doing.

I bought a new phone and transferred the app. The new phone shows the app installed on the old phone still and can't install it on the new phone. I received a response shortly after my review. It was recommended I check with customer support. I reinstalled MyQ in preparation for that call and myQ was fixed and working. Great product. Great support.

Works well when it works. Sucks when it doesn't work. It will periodically stop working and will not control the door. Most recently I was able to work around this by accessing the door control through the Amazon Key app. This app does not do well with its integrations. *Updated from 2 to 1 stars. They just love to deploy app breaking updates. The app in now very nice looking but stop controlling the hardware and I can't log in. It's time I look for a new solution.
