2024-12-05 | Lindsey Zavala | I love this app and the simplicity takes all the thinking out of going to the gym for me. You can watch form videos without navigating away from your workout which I love! It's helped me stay consistent for once. For the devs: It would be awesome if there was a pregnancy lifting routine added as I just found out I'm pregnant and I'd like to continue lifting but safely. I bought the year just before finding out and now I feel like I wasted my money for the year.
2024-11-26 | Eli Peter | This app has been great in exploring and building fitness routines. The ability for people to build and share programs is killer. A couple of small gripes that make it 4 star: - the line separating free and paid tiers seems pointlessly complex, and it's annoying to randomly crash into the paywall and the constant upsell. I get it, developers need to eat, but I think this is borderline counterproductive - the rest timer in the paid tier seems to lose its mind sometimes (but not all the time)
2024-11-20 | Ben Berger | App was fine until UI change, makes it near impossible to see progression scheme of a program you've already started. Also no option to resume a workout if you accidentally click "finish", you can only go back and edit it. I'll be sticking to paper. Update: tried again, used for a few months, this app has less features than a Google spreadsheet and constantly begs you to buy Pro. 0/10 do not install
2024-11-15 | Jordon Reinbold | I've been using boostcamp for about a year and it's probably one of my favorite apps Ive tried over the years. Most of the paid features aren't that important to me, so what's available for free is perfectly usable. I would happily pay a one time fee to support them, but I'm not paying a subscription. My biggest gripe is the apps a bit slow on startup, which normally wouldn't be an issue, but lately it seems like if I venture away from the app for too long it has to open up all over again.
2024-11-15 | Gabe Spence | I generally like this app but the two screens pushing the subscription model every time you open the app in the new version are supremely annoying. Also, the subscription model is ridiculously overpriced. I would actually consider paying for a premium version if it was a one-time charge and not a subscription. Not everything needs to be a subscription.
2024-11-12 | Anthony | Great app with tons of programs to choose from based on your training needs. One issue, but it's more of an annoyance: every time I open the app, I get the sign-up screen. It's two screens you have to close out of each time you open the app. Again, this is more of an annoyance, and I wish that once you decline to sign up for the monthly or annual fee, it doesn't come up again for X amount of time.
2024-11-12 | Jim Boyles | To the devs: Just started using it. Looks cool but can you upload FitNotes data and or previous workout Excel spreadsheet data into your profile to help adapt workouts to meet you where you're at, so program changes are more smooth? That would be clutch. I might use this app forever if you can do that. Should be pretty simple with AI. Lemmie know if it's there already and I missed it, though. I'll probably change my review to 5 stars later. Just wanna check it more first.
2024-11-01 | Jesse Bond | The app has become a lot slower recently. Noticing slowdowns when I open the app, start typing the weight of my first set (huge lag followed by queued input), and randomly being booted out of my current workout to be promoted with a subscription upsell. Like I would pay a flat fee for the app but I don't want another subscription.
2024-10-10 | Donta Beason | I have tried many workout apps, some I have a lifetime membership to. I really enjoyed the use of this bootcamp app; it allows me to do things that the other apps cannot. The way you can plan your own workouts, I love the templates. I would ask for one upgrade and that would be to allow super setting certain exercises within the workout plan. Will be using for a while, maybe Go Pro, we will see after this 8 weeks workout program!
2024-10-09 | Chung Kenneth | Very nice. Request. Once we finish a set, and number pads pop up for the next set, can you make the visual timer to be visible maybe by putting it on top so I can have the number pad up to punch in the rep number but also be able to see the visual timer at the same time without '1) having to close the number pad, 2) having to manually touch to see the visual timer, 3) when time is up I don't have to manually close the timer, and then 4) manually open the number keypad again to type in the rep. |
