very toxic place full of bullying, racism, and generally awful people. not once has a person been remotely nice to me here. every post I made was met with someone being nasty. on that note, don't mention if you used Vent, users here will harass former Vent users. Aside from that, the UI is all stolen from the now-closed app Vent, and done in a clunkier, worse way. It's so broken. I can't think of a reason to stay on this app.

Abysmal. Unsupportive community, horrific moderation, nonsensical features. The best parts of TalkLife are things it stole from its competitor-turned-side project, Vent, which it has now closed. I have tried to find a reason to use this app consistently but there are no redeeming qualities about it. It is a miserable copycat of an app that was literally copied off of its code. If you are seeking a small, supportive social media platform to express yourself, avoid TalkLife.

I'm back on here between here and Vent i guess there's a balance.... Edit: there's no balance anymore I hate being forced to choose an emotion every time... On Vent I had a choice... The Vent app has been killed and taken away... I don't even use this app like that anymore the last time I used it was two years ago... Contemplating deleting...
