The app is great. It's fun, and I've met some really good friends. But be aware that when they tell you your location is adjusted, PEOPLE SENDING YOU LETTERS CAN STILL SEE WHAT CITY YOU'RE FROM. Slowly only moves your location a few miles from you, so please be careful. Limit what you're willing to tell people if there's any risk of them coming to see you.

It's amazing! It's so easy to make friends on here as long as you put effort into your letters. Also the stamps are cute and it's not impossible to get coins. Edit: I keep getting logged out of my account which is annoying so I'm going to remove a star. Please fix this issue. I hate opening up the app only to go to my email and log in and be treated like a new user constantly.

I would say slowly is pretty good and it's honestly one of the only places where you can send long form letters and create actual friendships. I don't usually move my friends off of the slowly platform since I'm just fine sending letters back and forth. If you're trying to find a friend for texting on another social media platform, you can but make sure the other person is comfortable with it. Don't be pushy, as I've had people that are pushy with that kind of stuff and I usually block them.
