| 2024-05-01 |  | | Although being able to slow down solos and difficult rhythms is a huge chunk of my practice and this does accomplish that, this app is lacking on MANY other areas. The most annoying is that if you try to loop any parts with a highlighted section any notes that aren't palm muted at the end of the selection will continue to ring out through the replayed repeated section.. also, you can't access many of the things this app has to offer if you flip your phone into landscape mode. Good but still meh |
| 2023-11-18 |  | | Very helpful with trying to learn a song. I have 2 suggestions that would help me at least. First, when the song is playing keep the notes being played in the middle of the screen. Sometimes they are at the very end and you can't see what's coming next. Second, the bass options are sometimes very hard to hear. Maybe that's just my phone, but other instruments are much easier to hear. Sorry I just thought of a third, when the phone is sideways you lose all controls other than play and rewind. |
| 2023-08-27 |  | | Probably works fine with playing back tabs but as far as writing notes for a song from your phone, it's truly terrible. I'd rather fire up my computer and go in the other room than try and make "quick notes". Truly awful experience, guys. And I've been using guitar pro since GP3. Edit : wait, I can't even email my own notes to myself for use on my desktop? I'm doing a charge back. This is really, really terrible. Now it's 1* |
| 2023-01-01 |  | | I bought the app because I own a desktop license but quickly realized that it's just a file player. No editing at all. I don't use GPro to play my transcriptions because the playback is simply awful; even on the desktop. For acoustic guitars it's even worse. If you own a desktop license, this app should be free. Give me the ability to edit and this app becomes useful. |
| 2022-07-07 |  | | Garbage-displays as only one single line, and anytime you edit something it resets the tab. Finding anything is not intuitive, very little effort was put into this. I highly recommend tux guitar, works much better than this. Thought this would be at least similar to the quality of the windows version. |
| 2022-06-26 |  | | Does the job pretty well. If you're familiar with the desktop version then you'll be right at home with this mobile version. You can view exported tabs from the desktop version or write new tabs straight from this app. The only thing I wish this app had is the option to have multiple instruments per tab. You kind of lose out on some of the song writing experience if you can only program in one instrument. Like at least 2 or 3 instruments per song in the "note pad" would really elevate this app. |

I found that I could write tabs in the note section, which was the only reason I wanted this app. It was a relatively slow process but I got the whole song written out and the only thing to do with the tabs after that point is delete them which I accidentally found only minutes after finishing. Gone, no way to get them back, with just a light swipe to the right. |

For example> impossible to add multiple instrument tracks>if there are too many notes in a single bar, some notes will not play when exporting the tab file. Also, notepad files will randomly corrupt. Cannot add variable tempos or change tempos/time signatures throughout the tab. |
| 2021-06-14 |  | | Terrible interface. So I can stand by the guitar pro desktop software whole heartedly, but this app is complete trash. I mean for a PAID app with a well known name, that says you can compose, it was terrible. I expected WAY more from this app and was extremely disappointed. You can't even tab passed the 9th fret, notation is basically non existent, and it's confusing. I really was hoping you could actually make a decent song, but absolutely not the case. |
| 2021-04-29 |  | | A great tablature app for the aspiring guitarist on the go. Something I'd like to see improved are the sound samples because chords become far too loud and low notes are far too quiet, especially on 7 or 8 string guitar. A new sample library would really step up the quality of the app. The desktop version has decent samples, why not just port those over? Like my phone can play xbox games from 2001, I think it can handle some 8-bit sounds. |
