FAQ:

Q: Is the audio track feature available in the Guitar Pro mobile application?
A: Unlike in Guitar Pro for Windows and Mac, the audio track feature is not accessible in the Guitar Pro mobile app.
You can play local Guitar Pro files that include an audio track, but the audio track won't be shown or played.
The mySongBook scores with embedded audio tracks are not available in the mobile app.

Q: Can I create or edit sheet music with this app?
A: Unlike Guitar Pro for Windows and Mac, this app does not let you change the notation in an existing Guitar Pro file, or create sheet music in standard notation. It is however possible to edit a single-track tablature with the NotePad tool. Editing a drum track is not available with the NotePad tool.

User reviews

Although being able to slow down solos and difficult rhythms is a huge chunk of my practice and this does accomplish that, this app is lacking on MANY other areas. The most annoying is that if you try to loop any parts with a highlighted section any notes that aren't palm muted at the end of the selection will continue to ring out through the replayed repeated section.. also, you can't access many of the things this app has to offer if you flip your phone into landscape mode. Good but still meh

Very helpful with trying to learn a song. I have 2 suggestions that would help me at least. First, when the song is playing keep the notes being played in the middle of the screen. Sometimes they are at the very end and you can't see what's coming next. Second, the bass options are sometimes very hard to hear. Maybe that's just my phone, but other instruments are much easier to hear. Sorry I just thought of a third, when the phone is sideways you lose all controls other than play and rewind.

Probably works fine with playing back tabs but as far as writing notes for a song from your phone, it's truly terrible. I'd rather fire up my computer and go in the other room than try and make "quick notes". Truly awful experience, guys. And I've been using guitar pro since GP3. Edit : wait, I can't even email my own notes to myself for use on my desktop? I'm doing a charge back. This is really, really terrible. Now it's 1*
