User reviews
If you leave the app, even mistakenly, you will be forced to quit and reopen to get updated arrival time because the folks at BART, as with public transit, have apparently never used an app, so they don't know how to even get the basics done correctly.

I installed the app to register for long-term parking at berryessa station, but that station isn't even listed in their app. On the station web page it says you can reserve parking on their website. Seems like this is a sloppy app that's out of date, that station has been open for years. When an app like this doesn't work on the very first thing you try to use it for, you give up quick.

Not just an *awful* user experience, I'd almost say it's hostile. It seems as though any suggestion made in the interest of improving this app is used to do the opposite - it just keeps getting worse and worse with each update. You can't pay for your ride, you can't reload your clipper card, and you have to put in a lot of guess work as to where you are and where you're going. It's as if the devs are doling out punishment to users for the crime of being forced to use their service.
