| 2024-11-24 |  | | Update 11.24.24: issue setting routines. Unreliable implementation of routines. This would be better if you could customize the wake word. Also, I keep having to uninstall and reinstall to stop the app from "freezing" up and not playing my routines. Usually discovered after I wake up late for work. Most of the routines have frozen up. Cannot trust Echo Dot or Show to wake me up. Very expensive alarm that doesn't work. |

Sometimes when I make a request, it doesn't respond, yet the blue light displays indicating it recognizes it's been called. If I ask about current weather conditions, it provides the opposite of what it is. It recently started changing the volume on its own, sometimes so low I can't hear it. I got as part of a promotion. If I needed to replace it, I would NEVER buy Alexa again! |

Ever since you changed the design, its been sooo laggy. Its like that on all my devices so its def on your end. This is literally the worst app I've ever used. |

DONT use this as a music source unless you want to listen for hours to hear something new you saved. No longer supports 1st generation units. Go round and round trying to connect. Support for connecting is useless and gave up trying. Had 1 that didnt work hung up w support now 2 of them dont work. Still have 3 exact units but amazon apparently isnt supporting these anymore. I will NEVER buy another Alexa again! |

| 2024-11-22 |  | | Over the years the UI has gotten progressively worse. Things are so hard to find. Often you will open the app and discover a blank screen. Sometimes when the app does load you will still end up with blank areas on the screen (ie app populates but will be missing some sort of function button). I usually type announcements but often the button to send the announcement vanished. I discovered if you tap approximately where the button should be the announcement sends. But that sucks. |
| 2024-11-21 |  | | It is NOT indicated, but different apps must be downloaded for each manufacturer of smart devices. This makes set-up and maintenance cumbersome and complex. Different devices drop off and will not reconnect to the system without removing and reinstalling the device and, at times, the device(s) will not reconnect. Make sure all of the devices you are going to add to the system are of the same manufacturer...especially lights. |
| 2024-11-20 |  | | Edited my 5-star review because when I "drop-in" on my Alexa device... The app shuts down, but I'd still be able to speak through it. This also effects the audio on my phone because it sounds as if I'm still speaking through the Alex device. Please fix this... It's quite annoying that I have to FORCE the Alexa app closed after every single time I use it just to use my phone again. Update 11/19/24 - Every time I open an Amazon app, it closes. |

| 2024-11-17 |  | | I can't figure out how to add an account. The app starts the process but then all I have is her name and Alexa only sees my account. Like I said before you keep moving things around and making more difficult to do things. I'm fine with it most of the time except if I need to change something....where the hell is the "settings" button? I've wasted tons of time doing this and it's completely frustrating. I've tried doing it from my computer too. Yeah no bueno. Why have a feature I can't access? |
