Amazing app for tracking workouts, coming up with substitutions if you don't have the equipment. It's a great personal trainer if u need help tracking workouts or making one of your own. It has so many customization options. I even use it to track personal workouts away from the gym. AMAZING app and very reasonable

Great app for everything I want to do: know what to do when I get to a gym, achievable goals, workout progression, change out the equipment if that's not available when I'm at the gym, workout and rest timers built in, customizable times per week and time at the gym. I looked for an app based on reviews, and this one has been everything and more!

I am new to this app, but by the end of the first workout, I was hooked. I am using the Pro version and love how each workout is carefully planned out for me, is consistent, encourages me to progressively overload, keeps track of what I'm doing, and even tells me when to rest, and when to move on to the next set. The app also includes excellent videos and descriptions of how to execute each set perfectly and how to properly use equipment. It's like having a personal trainer in my back pocket!

Been using Alpha Progression for a few years now and it's awesome! I've never had success sticking to a plan, but this app has helped me so much! It's one of the only apps I opt to pay for simply to support the developer. The free version did everything I needed and I used the free version for the first year but I am using the paid one now. Never had issues with any bugs, it's the most reliable app I've ever installed lol. Can't rate it high enough

App definitely keeps you on track . Great customization options and very clear direction on how to put in the information and execute the movement . After enough data is tracked app starts to give you target weight and reps to continue to move you in an upwards trajectory of progress. Wish I found this app earlier

In terms of functionality, this app has everything I want in a lifting app. I really love being able to select what equipment I have available and having it generate a program around that. However, given how expensive it is I really expect a native android app design. This is ripped straight from iOS including animations and placement of UI elements. It can be pretty jarring.

Solid workout design! I'm new to working out in the gym. Had no clue what to do. Tried a few apps and Alpha Progression is by far the best for me to target muscle groups, track progress and not over do it. I've seen steady progress and it's made it a lot easier to get back in the gym and have a plan that works for me.

Really enjoying Alpha Progression so far. I tried to go the free route and went through a bunch of free trial on other apps but kept coming back to Alpha Progression because of the simplicity and customization. Great UI makes it that I'm not fiddling with the app during my workouts. Overall, it's well worth the yearly subscription to keep workouts varied and interesting based on your equipment. Would love to see Garmin integration so Garmin knows what workouts I'm actually doing. 5 stars

The app is pretty good. Cons - Post workout summary data is embarrassingly weak. No info on volume over any amount of time or really much of any post workout data. My garmin watch displays more on its watch face than what I get here, and many FOSS (free open source) fitness apps do far, far better. - periodization and RIR needs improvement both UI and in UX - warmup rounds need to be added not as notes and probably count towards volume The app needs to be more powerful to be useful int/adv user

This app has exceeded my expectations. I've been lifting a long time and could build my own programs, but I wanted something more automated. The program it created for my goals is spot on. The app is intuitive and flows well throughout the workout without being distracting.
