Wanted me to create a new kind of login, use a newer app. Very annoying when you just want to use it and have to spend half an hour in the night on nearly re-register, give new pin codes of 6 characters - to save it in secure places to remember, biometric identification, etc, shame on you OTP. It's a small issue, but it's one I run into every single time. Then, logging in was always a pain. And approving online payments even more so. It was so much of a hassle I kinda gave up using it. | |

I and several others have this error for days and there is not even a single message that you are trying to fix this or that we should use an other app or anything. I got this error: "Communication error! The selected WIFI network is inadequate for using SmartBank." However, I was on MOBILE data. NO WIFI involved. Still, the customer service was sure about me having problems with my internet provider... 😅 (I had 4G and maximum signal) It would be much better, if there would be a direct contact to the developers... | |

Anytime anyone manages to crash it down (one can do so by getting to open it without Internet), they need to literally re-register their device. I missed my train to work because of this... And this is not the first time. | |

Without this feature app seems to be pretty useless since you can check only your balance. The app mecame slower, the authentication became tedious, mist of the times doesn't even work, and anytime i try to log in, 8 out of 10 times it just say "Error in communication! Check your internet connection!" while I AM CONNECTED to the internet. The in-app authentication became so annoying, most of times i can't order food with my card, because it doesn't work! 2021-04-01 | Greg Kemp | Awful banking app and also a rubbish banking experience. The app is extremely slow and the language used is so clunky it makes even simple tasks a hassle. Then on top of this, you are charged petty fees for anything you would normally expect for free from a bank, like you have to pay to receive notifications(???) and other things which are really basic things to expect from an app. I can't believe OTP is making its money from these pointless little fees, it's like they're there just to annoy. | |
2021-03-11 | Norbert Murvai | -Absolutely useless for any real time transaction approval. -SLOW = If you are lucky then it just takes ages to log in. (>5 min) -UNRELIABLE = If you are unlucky then it will take a very long time to log in AND then deletes your whole profile. -FAULTY = And No it is not a "temporary issue" since after one or two uses you ALWAYS need to completely recreate your profile because of the constant profile deletion issue. (Re-registered and Recreated my profile at least 5+ times so far) |
